3D printed car

In case some of you have not noticed I am a bit obsessed with 3D printing and the amazing possibilities that it promises to bring to us.

Today I have yet another awesome project that is being done using 3D printing. A car that can cross the country on 10 gallons of ethanol.

You heard (read?) that right, across the country (2,849 miles, I wanted to avoid tolls) on just ten gallons of Ethanol (corn gas).

The fact is that while this is awesome in ad of itself it really does open up a crazy number of possibilities to further what 3D printing can do for us. If we can make our own cars, who knows what other kind of appliances and vehicles we may be able to produce!
