Zack joined Capitol Asset Recovery in September 2009 with overall responsibility for the Electronics Recycling and Data Destruction operations for the company. During his first year with the company he developed an internal Environmental Management System across all locations of the Company. Zack was also instrumental in the development of the Federal Government practice of the Company.
Very early on Zack discovered both the financial and environmental value of metal recovery and reclamation. Through a natural progression, Zack moved from the Scrap Metal industry to the Electronics Recycling industry. Zack holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Indiana University, as well as a Masters in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship.
Prior to joining Capitol Asset Recovery, Zack spent three years as Manager of Business Development for Alternegy Fuels, which was formed to acquire and operate facilities for the production and distribution of biodiesel fuel and related products.
Zack is a fourth generation scrap metal recycler with his roots stemming from the “Motor City,”– Detroit, Michigan.
