Incineration

Waste-to-Energy Facilities Nationwide

The Waste-to-Energy method is a process whereby solid waste is burned in specially designed boilers to extract steam and electricity which is converted into “green” energy.  Incineration is a destruction method for paper, CDs, tapes, and other types of media including microfiche, microfilm, magnetic media; it is not for electronics.  Capitol Asset will safely and securely transport your used media in need of incineration to our partner for proper destruction. Incineration occurs in a safe, environmentally compliant facility.  And it adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations.

Incineration is a more costly form of disposal, but can be used for highly sensitive information like health care records and is compliant with HIPAA and classified data destruction.
